Evan Granados college Cerritos
Helped the team win the Orange League championship as a senior, while he was voted their Most Valuable Player. Won the league title as a senior and placed fourth at the Edison Beach Bash and fifth at the Asics SoCal Challenge. His team placed second at the CIF Championships three seasons in a row… Competed at 138 pounds and 145 pounds for most of his high school career.
Zachary harkey – college Cerritos
Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior and junior. Placed third at the CIF Championships at 170 pounds his senior season and posted a 35-13 record. Also came in second place at the Coast View League Championships and won the San Clemente Tournament. Finished in the Top 12 at the Five Counties Tournament his junior and senior years. Went 20-16 at 160 pounds as a junior. Spent four seasons on the wrestling team.

Jakob Smith – Colorado school of mines
Texas state champion at The Woodlands College Park. Won the 2022 state 6A crown at 145 pounds. Also the Texas freestyle state champion in 2021. Two-time state placer. Went 161-23 in his career. Team captain Placed seventh at the 2021 Reno Tournament of Champions. Four-year varsity letterwinner.
Aidan Gassel college – case western university
Earned three varsity letters in wrestling at Newport Beach High..named Team MVP as a junior and senior.
Von Flenn college – southern Oregon
Won the Arizona Division 2 state championship at 120 pounds and was the RMN 18U national champion at 120 in both folkstyle and freestyle. Went 92-3 over his sophomore and junior seasons.
College Qualified for the NAIA Championships and earned a starting spot in SOU’s dual lineup at 125 pounds as a true freshman. Posted a 24-13 overall record and went 11-6 in dual matches, earning a No. 18 overall ranking. Placed fourth at the Cascade Conference Championships and went 1-2 at the NAIA Championships with a consolation upset of the No. 10 overall seed. Won a tournament title at the Clackamas Open.
Isaac Mendoza – college Cerritos
Posted a 16-5 record as a senior after going 28-7 his junior year. Came in third place at 126 pounds as a senior at the CIF Championships. Qualified for the CIF Tournament three times. Finish his freshman year with a 33-13 record. Spent four seasons on the wrestling team.
