Work Experience
Michael started his wrestling career at Diamond Ranch High School, where he was a CIF placer. He continued to wrestle during his time in grad school at USC, in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association. He earned a conference title in Folkstyle and a national championship in Greco. During this time he also started his coaching career at his alma mater. Since then, Michael has competed in Masters Division events, winning a championship in Greco-Roman and Runner-up in Freestyle at the US Open. Recently, he had the opportunity to expand his career to Beach Wrestling, earning a national championship in the Masters Division. He continues to share his passion for the sport through coaching, offering the same life lessons that served him well to the next generation of wrestlers.
